Star Image Pictures

We based this shot on a 1940's war poster, which is trying to get the women to go into work, after their boyfriend's/husband's left their jobs to go to war. This poster can be seen on our mood board.

We want Miss Mercy to have attitude, which is the reason for this picture...

...Yet we want to portray her as being happy too.

This, again, is influenced by the 1940's poster seen on our mood board.

Some general posing shots..

1940's glamour.

Our star, Miss Mercy (Meredith) and Andy, who will play the boyfriend going away to war, in the narrative. This shot was influenced by a photo we found whilst browsing the internet. It is of a couple in the 1940's, in this pose. This picture is on our mood board.

And again, influenced by the photo that we found.

A lovey dovey shot of the narrative couple.

  1. Costumes weren't really sorted when we took these pictures, so we just took them in what Meredith and Andy came to the TV studio in. Although Meredith did bring the headscarf in purposely to look more in period.
    I think Meredith's skirt looks 1940's-ish though :)

  2. Also, we're going to edit the pictures to tint them sepia, so that they look older..
