Narrative: Set in the 1940's. Andy is going away to war. He and Meredith go to the train station, where Andy leaves. Meredith flicks through a photo album at home, looking at the times they had together. They write eachother letters. Meredith finds out she's pregnant, then receives a telegram saying that Andy has been killed.
